Vanilla Latte Recipe

A smooth and creamy vanilla latte made with freshly brewed espresso, warm milk, and a touch of vanilla syrup for a sweet, comforting drink.

Equipment

  • Espresso machine (or Moka pot/French press)
  • Milk frother (or a small whisk)
  • Small saucepan
  • Spoon
  • Coffee mug

Ingredients
  

  • 1 shot 30 ml of espresso (or ¼ cup strong brewed coffee)
  • ¾ cup milk any type: whole, skim, almond, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup adjust to taste
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Vanilla extract optional, for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Brew the Espresso:

  • Brew a fresh shot of espresso using your espresso machine, Moka pot, or French press.

Heat and Froth the Milk:

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm (do not boil). Once heated, use a frother or whisk to create foam by vigorously stirring the milk for about 30 seconds.

Sweeten with Vanilla:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup to the brewed espresso. Stir well to combine.

Combine the Ingredients:

  • Pour the frothed milk over the sweetened espresso. Hold back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the foam on top of the drink.

Serve:

  • Optionally, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of vanilla syrup. Serve immediately while hot.
