Triple Citrus Loaded Tea (Black Tea Base)

A revitalizing black tea infused with the essence of citrus fruits, vitamins, and a touch of sweetness.

Equipment

  • Large glass or teapot
  • Tea infuser or strainer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Electric kettle (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon loose-leaf black tea or 1 black tea bag
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 scoop vitamin C powder optional
  • 1 packet stevia sweetener or to taste

Instructions
 

Boil water :

  • Use an electric kettle or boil fresh water in a pot.

Steep tea:

  • Place the loose-leaf black tea or add the black tea bag to the teapot and pour boiling water over it.
  • Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength of brew.

Prepare citrus juices:

  • Squeeze the freshly squeezed orange, lemon, and lime juices into a separate container.

Add citrus juices:

  • Pour the prepared citrus juices into the tea pot or glass with the steeped black tea.

Add vitamin C powder (if using):

  • Add 1 scoop of vitamin C powder to the mixture and stir well.

Sweeten with stevia:

  • Add 1 packet of stevia sweetener (or to taste) and stir gently.
