Ingredients
  

Base Recipe

  • 1 cup 8 oz strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso
  • 1 scoop (30g) protein powder vanilla or chocolate flavor
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Optional Add-ins (choose 1-2)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free syrup
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 banana for smoothie version
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • Stevia or monk fruit sweetener to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare Coffee

  • Brew coffee or espresso and let it cool slightly
  • If using hot coffee, chill in refrigerator for 10 minutes

Combine Base Ingredients, In a blender or shaker bottle, add:

  • Protein powder
  • Cold coffee
  • Almond milk
  • Vanilla extract (if using)

Mix and Blend, If using a blender:

  • Add ice cubes
  • Blend until smooth and frothy

If using a shaker bottle:

  • Shake vigorously until powder is dissolved
  • Pour over ice in serving glass

Add Extras

  • Stir in any optional add-ins
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed

Serve

  • Pour into a tall glass
  • Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired
  • Serve immediately
