Power Loaded Tea Recipe (Green Tea Base)

A revitalizing tea blend that combines the energizing properties of green tea with the cognitive-boosting powers of matcha powder, ginseng, and guarana.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon of Green Tea leaves or 1 green tea bag
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Matcha powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Ginseng powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of Guarana powder
  • 5-7 drops of L-theanine supplement optional
  • 1 B-complex vitamin tablet optional
  • 1 tablespoon of Honey natural sweetener

Instructions
 

Step 1

  • Prepare the Green Tea Base
  • Boil water in a teapot or kettle.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves (or 1 green tea bag) to the boiling water.
  • Steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength of tea.

Step 2

  • Mix the Boosters and Supplements
  • In a small bowl or cup, mix together 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder, 1/4 teaspoon of ginseng powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of guarana powder.

Step 3

  • Combine the Green Tea Base and Boosters
  • Once the green tea has steeped for 3-5 minutes, remove it from the heat.
  • Add the booster mixture to the green tea base and whisk until well combined (optional).

Step 4

  • Add Honey and L-theanine Supplement (if using)
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the tea mixture and stir until dissolved.
  • If using, add 5-7 drops of L-theanine supplement to the tea mixture and stir.

  • Calories: 10-15
  • Caffeine: 20-30mg (from green tea and matcha powder)
  • L-theanine content: 5-7 drops (approx. 2-3mg)
  • B-complex vitamins: 1 tablet (varies depending on the brand)
