Iced Green Tea Recipe

This refreshing and healthy iced green tea is a perfect blend of green tea, honey, and lemon, offering a deliciously cooling drink for warm days. It's quick and easy to prepare, with a balance of sweetness and tangy citrus.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons loose leaf green tea
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice optional
  • 1 lemon sliced (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Boil the Water : Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or pot.
  • Brew the Tea: Once the water boils, remove it from heat and add the green tea bags (or loose tea). Let steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your preferred strength.
  • Sweeten (Optional): Remove the tea bags, and if using honey or a sweetener, stir it in while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved.
  • Cool Down: Let the tea cool down to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for about an hour.
  • Serve: Once chilled, fill a glass with ice cubes, pour in the cold green tea, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
  • Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing iced green tea.
