- 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons loose leaf green tea
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons honey or sweetener of choice optional
- 1 lemon sliced (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish
Boil the Water : Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a kettle or pot.
Brew the Tea: Once the water boils, remove it from heat and add the green tea bags (or loose tea). Let steep for 3-5 minutes depending on your preferred strength.
Sweeten (Optional): Remove the tea bags, and if using honey or a sweetener, stir it in while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved.
