Honey Mustard Pretzels

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Base:

  • 1 pound mini pretzels (about 8 cups)

Prepare Oven

  • Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C)
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper

Make Coating

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together vegetable oil, honey, both mustards
  • Add mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  • Whisk until well combined and smooth

Coat Pretzels

  • Add pretzels to the bowl with the honey mustard mixture
  • Gently toss and stir until pretzels are evenly coated

Arrange for Baking

  • Spread coated pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet
  • Make sure they're not overcrowded

Bake

  • Place in preheated oven
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
  • Pretzels should become dry and crispy

Cool and Store

  • Remove from oven and let cool completely
  • Break apart any clusters that formed during baking
  • Store in an airtight container

Storage

  • Keep in an airtight container at room temperature
  • Will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks
