Ingredients
  

For the Caramel Brulee Sauce:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Latte:

  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons caramel brulee sauce
  • Whipped cream for topping

For the Brulee Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions
 

Make the Caramel Brulee Sauce:

  • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat
  • Cook without stirring until amber colored (about 8-10 minutes)
  • Carefully add cream (mixture will bubble)
  • Whisk until smooth
  • Add salt and vanilla
  • Let cool slightly

Prepare the Coffee:

  • Brew espresso or strong coffee
  • Steam and froth milk until hot and foamy

Assemble the Latte:

  • Pour caramel brulee sauce into serving glass
  • Add hot espresso and stir
  • Slowly add steamed milk while stirring
  • Top with whipped cream

Add the Brulee Topping:

  • Sprinkle sugar evenly over whipped cream
  • Use kitchen torch to caramelize (if using)
  • Alternatively, sprinkle with crushed caramel candies
